Kate Collins

JAN: Our good friend Kate Collins, author of the flower shop mysteries, recently lost her number one fan, her dear husband. We are happy to help her spread the word about her new book, DIRTY ROTTEN TENDRILS, during this difficult time.

When high-powered lawyer Ken "the Lip" Lipinski is found dead from a suspicious overdose, florist and amateur sleuth Abby Knight finds it hard to swallow that his opposing counsel-and her old boss-is the murderer.

Yoga and Creativity and Writing
And for anyone in the Massachusetts area who might be interested. In my ongoing research into creativity and writing, I've delved into meditation, yoga and psychology.

On Friday, October 15th, I'll be discussing creativity and writing at a yoga retreat at Easton Yoga Center, 50 Oliver Street, in North Easton, Mass.

Yoga teacher extraordinaire Lees Yunits, who is also a writer and music composer, will be running the retreat, teaching poses that stretch both the body and the mind, and customizing yoga programs to individual needs. The retreat costs $40 per person, runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m, . and includes lunch and a walking meditation on beautiful grounds.

  1. Thanks for posting this Jan! It's a nice time of the year to take a day to sink into our bodies & breath, and to see what story lines we can coax out & onto the page.
