It's not staged on the page but children are involved in the storyline. Angel Killer is really Shari's story - what she's going to do with her life now that her kids are grown and she's a widow. But it's also the beginning of a career that's not easy because it deals with the dark side of human nature and a justice system that isn't always effective.
