One part of my obsession with books, which has developed in the last few years, is obtaining my favorite authors' hardback copies of their series books. Debs, there is a vendor at Bouchercon, whose name now escapes me, but who has used books, and I have been using him to collect your series in hardback. I need to check and see what all I still need. Of course, I will eventually need to get them signed, if not already done.

I have a coffee obsession, which I gladly share with Kaye, and we have a picture of each of us at Daisy Dukes in New Orleans holding up a cup of their wonderful coffee with a jazz trumpeter in a painting on the wall beside us. Ann reminded me of my obsession with bread, mostly hot fresh bread with butter, but I can also eat just a piece of regular bread and butter and enjoy it. And, I should also add butter to the list of addiction. My motto is "everything is bettah with buttah." I try not to buy milk chocolate M&Ms, because they are such a temptation. I only buy cheese puffs about once every two or three months because, well one leads to another leads to an empty bag. And, really melted cheese over anything is sure to be gobbled up by me. I love spaghetti, and I can even eat it without sauce. Macaroni and cheese in the Kraft original box is in my top five food loves. Crab cakes and salmon patties are favorite seafood, although cobia fish found in the waters around Key West is my favorite fish. Don't look for it on the restaurant menus there (unless things have changed) though, because from what I was told, those catching it catch it for their own use. I had it for Christmas Eve dinner one year when my daughter lived in Key West, and they went fishing that day for it. Lucy, do you all eat cobia ever? And, as far as food goes, I guess a good cheeseburger is a thing of beauty, although they aren't really an addiction. Fried eggs are.

On to my addition or obsession with goats. Many of my friends on FB know of this obsession of mine and post wonderful goat pictures on my page. The baby goats are completely irresistible, but I love the grown goats, too. Now, something I came across this summer has me tickled pink. It's a site called "You've Goat Mail," and you can choose between two stuffed animal goats, a Billy Goat and a Nubian, to send to someone to brighten their day. I haven't sent one yet, but it's only a matter of time. The site also has an adorable cow and whale available, but it's the goats I goatta have.

And, then there's my obsession with coffee mugs. Oh dear. I collect one from wherever or whenever I go on a vacation, and I have a Starbucks collection, too, from the Starbucks in different cities. My last one was from the Starbucks at Universal Studios in Florida. They have the location on the mugs. OK, I'm going to quit now. I'm beginning to sound like a really addicted personality. But, as Popeye (another addiction) says, "I yam what I yam."Kathy Reelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17004247271452356577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1001156153899984046.post-85033913034868185232017-07-30T15:05:47.521-04:002017-07-30T15:05:47.521-04:00Oh, Ann. I rarely buy them for the house because I am so good at laying waste to a box of them. That said, when I go out to my local lunch spot on Saturdays (or any other day I happen to stop by there), I get my tall cool glass of strawberry lemonade ordered and when Jen the Bartender brings me my drink, she lays down two bowls of the cheese and crackers that I love so much. The crackers being Wheat Thins (obviously, or this story would make no sense).

And then there are Reese's Peanut Butter Cups...which we shall not dive into much detail, lest I be tempted to head out to the store and buy some.
