Rhys, I think you missed your calling. didn't you write that other famous poem about a booksigning:

Laughing out loud here. How do you write this stuff?
My favorite Xmas poem is from the great Walt Kelley who penned Pogo cartoons. Here's the first verse of his immortal Deck Us All With Boston Charlie:
Deck us all with Boston Charlie,
Walla Walla, Wash., an' Kalamazoo!
Nora's freezin' on the trolley,
Swaller dollar cauliflower alley-garoo!
Or champagne, a glass of champagne would be appropriate even if it didn't rhyme.
