Sound of Music - Central Station Antwerp (Belgium)

I was pretty tired of bad news this week and found this on the Good News Channel. I dare you not to smile and start singing.
What song would you start singing if you could get an entire train station filled with people to join in?

That was a great start to my day! Thank you, Ro. Odd how all those reputed commuters knew the choreographed moves, though (did you catch the macarena portion?). Fun, nonetheless. Now that "Doe, a deer" is playing in my head, I can't even imagine a different one, unless maybe YMCA. Or Dancing in the Streets?

I understand that it was a publicity stunt for Belgian television, but the reactions of the commuters were genuine. YMCA is a pretty good one..maybe we should do this at Crimebake (just joking, Hallie..)

Definitely we'd have to work on our moves to pull it off at Crimebake. I love to dance so count me in--I know you can count on Hallie and her foot-tapping husband too.

It was too well choreographed to be spontaneous. Do you know how long it takes most men to catch onto things like the macarena--and nobody was walking to the left when the rest were going to the right, as my husband would have done!
But it does leave a lovely happy feeling. And i do love dancing to YMCA.

Lordy, the lady in the white peony-splashed dress was a riot. Too cute.

Great place for pickpockets! While everyone is watching the dancers a trained group could clean up!

Really though, I think it woud be fun at Crime Bake...But instead of YMCA... "We are family...I've got all my SISTERS and me...

You're right on the money with that song, Ruth.

And thanks to Jungle Red for putting up such a cool few minutes of video. I don't care if it was choreographed (had to be), I would have loved to have been there!
