DEBORAH CROMBIE: We haven't done this for a while, so I thought it was time to see how everyone out in Jungle Red land was doing.
I am all about garden garden garden, and spending as much time outside as possible before it gets too hot here in north Texas--as in yesterday's lovely porch visit with my friend Gigi, complete with craft blackberry ginger beer and fresh mint from the garden.
Other than that, writing (yes, really...), and some wonderful post-vax firsts, like brunch and lunch out with my daughter and granddaughter, riding in a car with another person besides my hubby, getting my car washed, having friends IN THE HOUSE, and HUGS!!!! I keep telling myself I'll never take these simple things for granted again, and I don't ever remember feeling such a joy in the season.
